Welcome Stardust Listeners and thank you for joining us on United We Roll this Tuesday, the 19thth day of October, 2010 as we once again take time to honor those who serve our country and who protect our freedom!

We continue to see some articles pointing to possible problems with absentee voting for our deployed troops. As a reminder, we have posted the information for the FVAP (Federal Voting Assistance Program) and the Overseas Vote Foundation in our United We Roll Blog. Now on to our show ....
We have three great visits with deployed members who are serving thousands of miles away from home and families The show will end at our usual time of 4:00pm Central. Remember, if you are not able to stay with us through the show this afternoon, it will repeat again tomorrow evening, Wednesday, Oct 20th at 6:30pm Central. In addition, an MP3 copy will be placed on our show archive site for listening and downloading after the shows have been broadcast. (2:09pm) Our first visit for this show is with Army Maj John J Neal who is currently in the 13th month of his 15 month deployment and is the Brigade Fire Support Officer for the 1st AAB, 3rd ID. In 2004-5, Maj Neal was deployed for 13 months in Iraq, but this tour has been quite a bit different as he started out in northern Iraq as a Peacekeeper, then moved to the Baghdad area in a mentor position as the Draw Down progressed.

(2:44pm) Coming up next is an enjoyable and informative visit with two airmen who are on deployment with the 332nd ELRS (Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron) where they are assigned to the Vehicle Maintenance unit. MSgt Christopher Irving and SrA Daniel Miranda are both in the 4th month of their 6 month deployments where they are pulling shifts of 10-12 hours or more with one day off per week. This fine tuned team has quite a record for getting the vehicles back on the road as you will hear.

(3:16pm) Our third and final visit for this show is with a long time friend of Stardust Radio, who has recently returned to Iraq on a 12 month deployment even though he is in his 40th year of military service. CW5 Paul Holton, who some of you may recognize by his nickname of Chief Wiggles, has not only given so much to our country, he has also given a great deal to individuals through Operation Give, which is an organization he started during an earlier deployment to help the children of Iraq. He also authored a book called "Saving Babylon".

We would like to thank some folks without whom these visits would not be possible. Our deepest appreciation goes to MSgt Mike Hamill and Maj Vinston Porter.
