Dear VFC Friend:

I've taken Matthew, Jerry and Adam off the call for donations list as we¡¦ve completed those this morning. But we have one Veteran left who desperately needs our help to keep him from being homeless.

I want to thank the ten donors who made it possible to cover three Veterans, Veterans-For-Change doesn¡¦t have many who donate and these ten are among those who do on a regular basis. My sincerest hope is that those who haven¡¦t, please consider helping this one Veteran, even if you can only donate one time, now is the time to please consider making a donation.

We've struggled over the past month to meet the needs of our community, and this weekend is no different.
Our work is only possible with the assistance of generous donations from members of the community. Without donations from supporters such as yourself, the people who benefited from Veterans-For-Change services over the past five years would have been left to face their challenges with PTSD, TBI, and the various injuries and illnesses all alone. It is our belief that every person dealing with these problems/illnesses deserves the support that we are willing to give.

„« Army CPL Richard D....., 26 of Texas served two tours in Iraq in service to his country. Richard lost his right leg and arm when an IED exploded while supporting combat operations in Anbar province, Iraq. Richard has come to ask for assistance with his rent. We¡¦re looking to raise $325.00.

We¡¦ve been in contact with the Senators from Texas and asked they too get involved in Richards claim and expedite the process.

We needed $709.00 and now we¡¦re into the final stretch and only need $304.00 by 8:00am Monday morning to meet this last Veterans need.
